Accounts Receivable Clerk

Job Summary A stable and well-established organization in Long Beach, CA is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join its accounting department on a direct hire basis. This is a great opportunity for an early-career accounting professional with 1 to 2 years of experience who is looking to build a long-term career in accounts receivable, collections, and financial operations. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will support daily receivables activity, update account records, assist with collection calls, and help maintain accurate customer account information.

• Update accounts receivable records accurately and in a timely manner.
• Make collection calls and follow up on outstanding balances with professionalism.
• Assist with maintaining customer account information and payment status.
• Support the accounting department with routine receivables tracking and reporting.
• Research and help resolve account discrepancies or payment questions.
• Communicate effectively with internal team members and external customers.

• Salary range: $48,000 to $52,000 per year.
