This unique opportunity is to serve as the private House Manager for the founder of Westland Real Estate Group, ensuring their personal residence operates with the same level of excellence and attention to detail that defines the company.

Role

Summary

As the House Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all operations of a private residence in Long Beach, CA. You will serve as the primary point of contact for the household, ensuring the home runs smoothly and is maintained to the highest standards. The ideal candidate is a proactive, discreet, and organized individual capable of managing a wide range of responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Household & Property Management:
    • Manage all day-to-day operations to ensure the household functions efficiently.
    • Coordinate and oversee vendors, including sourcing bids and supervising their work.
    • Schedule and manage maintenance for the primary residence, a secondary "Castle house," an ADU, and all vehicles.
  • Administrative & Personal Support:
    • Conduct daily meetings with homeowners to align on tasks and household needs.
    • Perform secretarial and administrative duties as required.
    • Manage and organize all household calendars, schedules, appointments, and reservations.
    • Handle all incoming mail and packages.
    • Run errands, including grocery shopping, picking up medications, and dry cleaning.
  • Staff & Event Coordination:
    • Manage staff timecards.
    • Collaborate directly with the homeowners on the hiring and termination of household staff.
    • Coordinate with the household chef on menus and guest headcounts for Friday dinners and Saturday lunches.
    • Provide schedules for Shabbos dinner attendees.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven experience in a similar role, such as a House Manager, Personal Assistant, or Executive Assistant.
  • Strong preference for candidates familiar with Kosher kitchen practices and Shabbat observance (Shomer Shabbos).
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills with an ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Canva.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Utmost discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Must be consistently available by phone, text, and email.

The House Manager will be exposed to sensitive personal and business information and must handle all information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.
