We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join a busy team in California on a contract-to-permanent basis. This position supports daily customer service and documentation activities by coordinating with dispatch and operations, confirming shipment details, and ensuring required paperwork is complete and accurate. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing customer communication with administrative precision in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with dispatch and operations teams to confirm inbound truck information and validate shipment details before processing.
• Contact customers to obtain signatures, missing documents, and other required records needed to complete orders.
• Review paperwork for accuracy and completeness, then organize documentation for internal tracking and customer files.
• Prepare and issue invoices by verifying order information, charges, and supporting backup documents.
• Enter and update order data in company systems while maintaining accurate billing and service records.
• Respond to customer questions related to shipment status, documentation, and account support in a thorough and accurate manner.
• Monitor outstanding paperwork and follow up promptly to keep orders moving without delays.
• Assist with import and export customer service tasks, including document verification and coordination across departments.
