Faculty Staff Physician

Job Summary and Responsibilities

• Academic Staff Physicians must be members of the Medical Staff y Medical Center and must be licensed by the State of California and currently certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
• Subspecialty board certification is desirable or required as designated in descriptions for specific positions in the Department of Medical Education or at the Hospital.
• Academic Staff Physicians will have interests and aptitudes for teaching, learning, program administration, and academic creativity as defined by the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.

• Minimum of 1 year in a similar role or completion of a year as a post residency Chief Resident
• Graduate of US, Canadian, or other international medical school (recognized by the Medical Board of California)
• Must possess a full unrestricted medical license in the State of California
• As outlined by their St Mary Medical Staff privileges credentialing approval
• Board eligible or certified by the recognized American Board of Medical Specialties
