Job SummaryUnder the general direction of the BAC Directors, manage the comprehensive academic advising and support services for specific NCAA teams in the Bickerstaff Academic Center for Student-Athletes (BAC). Coordinate BAC assessments on advising services and assist the Director of Academic Support with academic support program assessments. Serve as the BAC liaison for returning student athletes.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the year-round academic advising and support services for specific NCAA teams.
- Responsible for all academic advising for specific NCAA teams including the interpretation of all NCAA/ CSULB rules and regulations, as well as calculations for NCAA progress towards degree requirements, GE requirements, major courses, etc.
- Assist in the planning, coordination and delivery of BEACHAMPION program.
- Assist the Directors of the BAC with Administrative tasks.
- Maintain working knowledge and comply with all NCAA compliance, Big West Conference, Athletic Department and CSULB rules and regulations that apply to working with the NCAA student-Athlete population.

Duration of AppointmentThis is a temporary position for 1 year with no permanent status granted. Temporary assignments may expire prior to the ending date.

CompensationSalary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department’s fiscal resources.

The CSU Classification Salary Range for this position is $5,083 - $7,228 per month.
