Our West Coast team seeks a senior structural engineer to provide technical leadership on several projects in the West Region. You will mentor junior engineers and deliver technical solutions.

Position based out of Long Beach or Irvine, CA offices.

• Lead a culture of innovation: create multistakeholder solutions that boost creativity and collaboration.
• Design engineering solutions and validate processes enabling realization of design brief conforming to standards.
• Draft engineering standards and specifications, and evaluate effectiveness within discipline.
• Develop policies and processes, deliver internal knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Monitor HSE KPIs, take action to improve performance.
• Recommend technical developments to improve quality of infrastructure.
• Provide professional supervision supporting practitioners’ development.
• Manage portfolio of projects and report to senior colleagues.
• Manage important client relationships with guidance from senior colleagues.

• Bachelor's and/or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering focusing on Structural Engineering.
• PE required - State of CA preferred; if outside CA obtain CA PE within 6 months.
• SE Preferred.

• Minimum 12 years experience.
• In-depth knowledge of engineering codes and guidelines such as ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC 360, IBC, CBC.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
• Knowledge of design and analysis tools (SAP
  2000, SAFE, Risa3D, MathCAD).

Salary Range: $130,000-$216,000 based on location and experience.
