Electrical Engineer I, Harness at True Anomaly

True Anomaly is looking for a creative and experienced engineer to develop and design harness assemblies and harness routing on spacecraft and test setups. Designs will interconnect the electronics and power subsystem within the spacecraft, including power, propulsion, guidance and navigation, data and telemetry.
Responsibilities- Create 3D harness routes and various electro‑mechanical assemblies.
- Generate simple wiring diagrams; understand grounding and shielding principles.
- Interface and coordinate between team members including engineering, program management, production and quality.
- Analyze harnesses with applicable quality and reliability standards.
- Perform IR/DWV testing.
- Support production and quality assurance to clear obstacles and ensure builds meet design intent.
- Develop BOMs and work within ERP system for production coordination.
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in mechanical, electrical or related engineering.
- Experience with Solid Works, CATIA, NX or similar 3D CAD software.
- Ability to work autonomously with little input on requirements or management oversight.
- Curiosity and respectful engagement with values.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel 20% of the time.
- Experience with Solid Works Electrical and Routing.
- Experience working with various industry standards or mil specs.
- Colorado Base Salary: $70,000‑$100,000
- California Base Salary: $75,000‑$105,000

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job‑related knowledge and skills, education, location, and experience.
Additional Requirements- Ability to maintain or obtain TS//SCI clearance.
- Work location:
onsite at our Long Beach, CA or Centennial, CO locations, with travel between sites as needed. - Work environment factors that affect working conditions.
- Physical demands: frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, and lifting or carrying items up to 20 lbs.
