Summer Internship - Project Engineer

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Assist team with General Contract and Subcontract administration
• Learn about Quality Control programs and coordinate actions to address problems
• Control documents including RFI postings and contract documents
• Distribute construction information to appropriate parties
• Work with PE(s), SPE(s), and APM(s) to compile contract close-out documents such as O&M manuals and As-Builts
• Assist in preparation of a contract items list
• Research and suggest options on construction means, methods, and equipment
• Perform other duties as required or assigned

The company is looking for:

• Current student (preferably sophomore or higher) pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field
• A strong desire to learn and develop new skills
• Strong sense of teamwork
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Resourceful with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on a team
• Highly organized and detail oriented; able to prioritize and multi-task
• Physical ability to sit for long periods, talk or hear, perform fine motor skills, stand, walk, and reach with arms and hands
