Controller, Finance & Banking, Financial Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Controller to oversee our accounting operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role, responsible for optimizing financial systems, building robust internal controls, and driving process improvements to support the company’s growth.

This position requires a unique blend of technical accounting expertise and strong operational insight, particularly in environments where internal audit and compliance are critical to success.

• Lead all aspects of the accounting function, including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and revenue recognition.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and maintain audit-ready financial records.
• Develop, implement, and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls aligned with business objectives.
• Partner with operations, billing, and collections teams to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition, including variable and project-based revenue streams.
• Collaborate with FP&A and executive leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial partners to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and treasury activities.
• Recruit, lead, and mentor a high-performing accounting team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Deep knowledge of GAAP and internal controls over financial reporting.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining strong financial processes and controls.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or other complex operational industries preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
