California Department of Insurance (CDI) seeks a dynamic Detective with recent experience as a state peace officer investigating auto, workers’ compensation , property and casualty insurance fraud and capable of producing clear, concise correspondence and investigative reports. Under supervision of a Supervising Fraud Investigator I, investigators conduct criminal buhok. Incumbents may work alone, with a team, or as a lead criminal investigator, assist in prosecution in state and federal courts, and handle broad ranges of felony violations.
Incumbents perform a full range of peace officer duties.
Background check, fingerprinting, psychological screening and medical examination are required.
