This contract-based opportunity near Long Beach, CA provides the chance to work 1:1 with students from 1st through 12th grade, making a daily difference in their educational experience.

Qualifications &

Experience:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
• Experience working in school settings preferred
• Ability to engage with students across multiple grade levels (1st12th)
• Knowledge of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 behavioral support to assigned students in the classroom and other school settings
• Implement and follow individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) designed by BCBA supervisors
• Collect and record behavioral data accurately and consistently
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, school staff, and other professionals to ensure coordinated care
• Foster student engagement, emotional regulation, and social skills development
• Adapt strategies to meet the unique learning needs of each student, from elementary through high school
