CT Technologist – Job Description

Sign‑on bonus: $5,000.

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient’s well‑being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Guide patients through the process by kindly explaining steps and answering questions and concerns regarding exam procedures.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrate competency regarding safeguarding patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguard on‑site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures and legal requirements.
• Demonstrate respect for company property, including cash and patient financial information on site or in patient portals.
• Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

• Genuinely passionate about patient care and exercise sound judgement and remain professional in all situations.
• Effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills and respect with patients, guests & colleagues.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, prioritize work with a structured approach, and enjoy solving complex problems.

• State regulation may require certifications: state licensure, ARRT (R), and/or ARRT (CT).
• BLS certification depending on state regulations.
• Preferred: at least one year of diagnostic imaging experience.
