Banquets Server

A Banquet Server is responsible for the setup and service of all assigned banquet functions.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations).
• Ability to clearly convey information and ideas.
• Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
• Ability to work well under stress in high-pressure situations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance in accordance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards, which vary according to hotel needs.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including proper uniform and name tag when working (per brand standards).
• Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
• Meet certification requirements relevant to the position, such as Alcohol Awareness, Food Handlers, Safety, etc.
• Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
• Perform preparatory tasks and side work to ensure prompt and efficient guest service.
• Read and understand the Banquet Event Order and be familiar with the menu of the assigned function.
• Perform other duties as required.
