Lead Infrastructure Solution Engineer

One of the major healthcare providers based in Southern California.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Lead Infrastructure Solution Engineer for our client. The selected candidate for the role will handle core deployment, integrating infrastructure, and automation duties for the company. This role is closer to a Dev Ops role than a DBA role.

The person selected for the role will also work on multiple projects within the company: from updating apps/updating versions to installing all new apps, resolving operational issues for small and large projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Understanding database requirements as a SQL developer and translate that into Enterprise infrastructure requirements.
• Determine high-level application design and translate them to Infrastructure requirements.
• Provide expert guidance to partners (Apps team or Business) on Platform configuration, Systems of Record integration, security and scalability.
• Work in partnership with Business/Apps partner and other Engineering teams to translate requirements into deliverable.

Requirements for the Role:

• 5-6 years of relevant work experience required; ideally seeking someone with 10+ years of experience
• Healthcare industry experience a plus.
• Has experience/background dealing with applications
• Some coding is required for the role (Python, XML, JSON, REST, Power Shell) as well as some SQL queries
• Must be comfortable with .Net framework.
• Knowledge of Java framework is a plus for the role
• Knowledge and experience with REST, SOAP/XML, JSON web API service layer.
• Must be comfortable and willing to learn new technologies especially related to Infrastructure.
