Job DescriptionProvide architectural reviews for Replication customers and partners. Provide support and mentoring to customer and sales teams designing complex data warehouse and master data management replication solutions for RDBMS and non-RDBMS environments. Document the review goals, results, and architecture change recommendations for customer and account team reference. Design tools and utilities for automated application health-check reviews. Author technical white papers, self-paced training media, support notes, and blog articles related to the Replicate product suite.
Develop and facilitate Replicate workshops for field personnel. Prepare and publish best practices documentation, mentor junior personnel assigned to the Services organization, develop Java based automation tools and database server specific scripts. Provide on-demand support to the services organization for customer migrations, proof of concept projects, and architectural review of Replication implementations.
Additional duties could include project management for Replicate customer implementations. Manage all aspects of the implementation project to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints, mentor customer personnel, work with customer database analysts on the design of complex master data management service oriented replication solutions and best practices, architect the Replicate installation, prepare and publish implementation plans and post implementation configuration documentation.
Prepare and publish best practices documentation, mentor junior personnel assigned to the Services organization and QA, develop automation tools and scripts, facilitate Replicate training courses at both customer and corporate locations.
QualificationsEducation
:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. MS is helpful.
Experience:
5-10 years technical experience, preferably in a software organization.
Must be experienced in Post-sales support and post-sales or related customer interaction activities.
Proven ability to work with the sales team during all aspects of a pre and port sales cycle.
Experience preferred in a smaller energetic software/professional services company.
This person must project a confident attitude and professional demeanor in all customer interactions.
Focus on development and Post-sales support.
Proven ability to facilitate the closing of large PS deals.

Hardware:
Windows and Linux Servers
Software: ETL, BI, Data Warehouse
Databases: DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, MySQL
Data Warehouses: Teradata, Green Plum, Vertica, Netezza.
Experience in real-time replication.
Knowledge of the following would be considered a plus:
AS/400, IBM Mainframe, Unix, VMS, HP Non Stop.
Knowledge of competitive products such as Goldengate, Data Mirror, DB Moto considered a plus.
Travel is required.
