Parahunt Global Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst in Long Beach, CA (onsite) to turn complex datasets into actionable insights.
Responsibilities- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL databases
, ETL processes, and data analytics tools to maintain accuracy and consistency. - Design and build interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau
, Power BI
, Looker
, and other reporting tools to visualize KPIs and business metrics. - Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, complete analysis, and translate business needs into technical specifications for data models and visualizations.
- Perform database design and query management on SQL Server
, Oracle
, or similar relational databases to optimize data retrieval. - Create and maintain automated workflows using Python
, R,
Bash (Unix shell), or VBA to streamline data processing. - Contribute to SDLC analysis within an Agile environment to ensure data solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned to project goals.
- Support business intelligence deliverables by analyzing requirements, building data models, and developing dashboards that enable strategic insights.
- Proven experience with SQL query management and database design across SQL Server
, Oracle
, or comparable platforms. - Strong proficiency with Tableau
, Power BI
, or Looker for dashboard development and reporting. - Hands‑on experience with ETL workflows using Talend or similar tools to extract, transform, and load data.
- Knowledge of Python and R for advanced analysis and automation tasks.
- Familiarity with business intelligence analysis, requirements analysis, and dashboarding best practices.
- Understanding of SDLC in an Agile context for iterative project delivery.
