Coin List is building the distribution network for onchain capital markets. Through its Passage platform, Coin List provides the infrastructure that lets any wallet, app, or platform embed access to tokenized assets, from equities and funds to token sales and other real-world assets, through a single integration. With a network of over 12M investors and more than $1.2B in transactions, Coin List connects asset issuers with the platforms and investors who want access to them.
Today, Coin List is scaling two core businesses:
- Passage (B2B Infrastructure) (): "Onchain Infrastructure for Capital Markets." Passage allows issuers to run compliant raises on our platform or embed Coin List’s deal flow into their own products via APIs and SDKs
- The Consumer Marketplace ():
The world’s leading destination to invest in token sales, pre-IPO stocks, tokenized equities, and on-chain funds. Through its token sale platform, Coin List has launched many of the leading crypto protocols including Solana, Near, USD.AI, and Ondo.
We have a strong engineering team with deep expertise in infrastructure, blockchain, and specialized domains. We are looking for a smart contract engineer who can build smart contracts to integrate with different asset providers (Ondo, Centrifuge, etc.). Those smart contracts act as a proxy between our users and the underlying assets. They offer a common interface so we can build similar products on top of them.
You’d be joining a small engineering team and directly reporting to the CTO in a greenfield-heavy environment where your work directly affects velocity, company direction, and revenue.
What You’ll Do- You’ll ship contracts to mainnet. We are investing in Solidity on EVM chains. This is where most of your work will live, reviewed by external auditors, deployed, and holding user funds. We move fast while keeping the technical bar as high as possible
- You’ll design contract systems, not just functions. As a senior engineer, we expect you to design systems from the ground up, including boundaries, interfaces, storage layout, upgrade strategy, access control, and emergency paths. You’ll also help decide what even belongs onchain at all
- You’ll be an owner. As part of a small team, everyone owns meaningful work, whether it’s the contracts behind a critical token sale or leading our onchain work on a new product
- You’ll treat security as the job. Adversarial review of your colleagues’ contracts and of external audit findings, fuzzing and invariant tests, deployment rehearsals on testnets, and monitoring and incident response are all expected
- You’ll rapidly grow and improve. You’ll be working with incredibly smart engineers who love to learn and teach each other. And if you want to extend your craft to Rust and the Solana runtime, we’ll invest in that with you
- You bring over 7 years of professional working experience, including at least 2 years of writing Solidity that reached production
- You know the EVM from the inside. Storage layout and packing, gas mechanics, memory versus calldata versus storage, ABI encoding, events and indexing, contract size limits, and the tradeoffs hiding inside each one
- You know the modern Solidity patterns. Proxies and upgradeability, role-based access control, signature verification and replay protection (EIP-712), reentrancy and oracle or price-manipulation defenses
- You have real tooling and testing discipline. Foundry (preferred) or Hardhat, fork tests, fuzzing and in variants, and a testing workflow you can justify from first principles rather than because it’s what the tutorial did
- You think like an attacker before you ship. You ask what a flash…
(If this job is in fact in your jurisdiction, then you may be using a Proxy or VPN to access this site, and to progress further, you should change your connectivity to another mobile device or PC).
