Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Manual Labor Material Handler to join our team in Compton, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for manually handling, organizing, and transporting materials in a warehouse or industrial setting. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
* Manually load and unload materials, products, and goods from delivery trucks.
* Move materials throughout the warehouse or job site using hand trucks, dollies, or other manual equipment.
* Stack, organize, and store materials in designated areas to maintain an orderly warehouse.
* Assist in inventory management by counting, sorting, and organizing products.
* Ensure materials are properly labeled and stored for easy access.
* Perform general labor tasks as needed, such as cleaning work areas and assisting with inventory control.
* Follow safety protocols to avoid injury and maintain a clean and hazard-free environment.
* Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure work tasks are completed on time.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Previous manual labor or material handling experience preferred but not required.
* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
* Strong physical stamina and the ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
* Basic organizational and time management skills.
* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
* Ability to work well as part of a team.
* Must be comfortable working in a warehouse or industrial environment.
* Safety-conscious with the ability to follow instructions carefully.
