CNC Mill Operator – Long Beach, CA
Company: Leading Manufacturer & Supplier of Carbon and Graphite Materials
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Pay: $26–$30/hr (Overtime as approved)

- Set up and operate CNC mills independently, ensuring parts meet specifications and quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, including standard and geometric tolerances.
- Minimize scrap and rework while maintaining high‑quality output.
- Accurately verify dimensions using micrometers, depth gauges, height gauges, dial calipers, and Optical Comparators.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and collaborate with engineering on improvements.
- Maintain 5S standards in the work area and comply with all safety and company protocols.
- Participate in cross‑training as needed to support other areas of production.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 4–5 years of CNC mill experience, including setup and operation
- Proficiency with various CNC and manual machining equipment
- Strong blueprint reading skills and knowledge of geometric tolerances
- Experience with standard measurement tools (micrometers, comparators, calipers, etc.)
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and ISO quality systems
- Strong trigonometry and math skills
- Ability to manage tooling, fixtures, inserts, holders, and specialized equipment effectively
