Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimise CNC programs using NX CAM or similar
- Validate programs to meet engineering specifications and tolerances
- Troubleshoot programming and machining issues
- Support machine setup, tooling selection, and process validation
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and revision control
- Strong CNC programming experience (NX CAM, Mastercam or similar)
- Hands-on CNC machining background
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Multi-axis machining experience
- CAD/CAM integration and 3D modelling
- Lean manufacturing knowledge
- Experience with additive manufacturing
- Combination of office-based programming and shop-floor support
- Exposure to CNC machinery and production environments
- Collaborative, fast-paced engineering setting
