• Skilledin the lay-up and precision placement of malleable elastomeric materials, oftentimes working in small/narrow cavities with tight tolerance requirements.
• Skilledhand layup with precision accuracy of dissimilar materials.
  
  Understands the relationship between theelastomer, dry fabrics, pre-impregnated fabric, resin, metal inserts, etc. andis able to successfully combine these elements to make reinforced seals.
• Exceptionalattention to detail is required to consistently layup materials to withinthousands of an inch and maintain acceptable yield percentage.
• Workswith patience and care to build tight tolerance components.
• Proven ability performing exceptional work to critical deadlines.
• Abilityto train other capable employees in precision layup.
• Ableto use process knowledge to make contributions to continuous improvement.
  
  Able to assist in root cause corrective action by identifying process issues and implementing changes to improve yield.
• Comfortable working on multiple jobs/tools throughout the course of a day.
  
  Able to maintain acceptable part qualitywhile multitasking.
• Usehand tools, measurement devices, and equipment to perform production operations.
• Complete assignments in a timely manner.
• Understand and adhere to all policies and procedures, including the Quality Management System.
• Understand and adhere to all environmental health and safety guidelines including allsafety policies and posted signs.
  
  Alwayswork in a safe manner – consistent with Rubbercraft policies and procedures.
  
  Always correct an unsafe situation or report it to the Lead or Manufacturing Operations Manager if anunsafe situation is found.
  
  Always wearthe required personal protective equipment.
• Beable to read and understand process routers and travelers.
• Followall written instructions, work instructions, travelers and procedures.
• Maintain proper part identification and traceability.
• Signoff production records, travelers and logs as work is completed.
• Ensure that ALL material used in deliverable products is within its shelf-life.
  
  Log and record material traceabilityinformation on travelers.
• Perform visual in-process inspection of product and segregate non-conforming product from production.
  
  Immediately report discrepancies, quality problems and non-conformances to the Lead, Inspectors,Engineers, or Management.
• Maintain and care for tools, molds, machines and equipment.
  
  Use tools for their intended purposes.
• Maintain the order and cleanliness of production work areas, ensuring that all tools,materials and supplies are returned to their designated locations.
• Participate in and contribute to process improvement, lean manufacturing and other initiatives.
  
  Recommend process improvements to the Lead, Project Engineer or Manager.
• Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Assist as required or assigned throughout the facility.

• Twoplus years working with in manufacturing, layup and elastomer/compositefabrication
• Familiar with tools used during elastomer manufacturing
• Must be able to read routers, blueprints and schematics
