• Serve as a leader and teammate to your direct reports.
• Ensure the department delivers the best care possible.
• Actively engage the floor, visibly connecting with nurses, patients, and families.
• Attend leadership meetings to learn about new initiatives, areas for improvement, etc., and share that information with the team.
• Monitor productivity and efficiency of the department.
• Mentor team members, sharing knowledge and confidence with assistant nurse managers, charge nurses, and others.

• Minimum of five years’ experience as an RN in an ICU unit.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Current EKG certification.
