American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Pediatrics position requiring a CA license, BLS, PALS, and recent pediatric nursing experience.
Responsibilities- Hospital-based Pediatric Acute Care Unit
- Primarily night shifts: 3x12 hours, 19:00-07:30
- Every other weekend required; for night shift, coverage includes Friday and Saturday nights
- Floating required within General Pediatrics, Pediatric Hem/Oncology, NICU, and PICU units
- No on-call responsibilities
- Uses EPIC documentation system
- All time-off requests must be submitted and approved prior to assignment
- Locals allowed, but must notify if residing within 50 miles
- RTO (requested time off) is at the manager's discretion and must be included at application
- Must be willing to float to various pediatric units as required
- Active CA RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent pediatric acute care RN experience
- Current BLS and PALS certifications required
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
- First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
