Description:
Unit consists of 32 licensed beds organized in pods of 8.The nurse-to-patient ratio is 2:1.RNs are responsible for reading and interpreting their own telemetry strips.
Assist with drips including pressors, antiarrhythmics, and sedation.
Experience with ventilators is necessary.
Clientist or intensivist is in-house.
Respiratory Therapy and Pharmacy are available 24/7.Shifts are from and .Nurses are expected to float to Tele and any ED ICU/Tele holds.
Common diagnoses include higher level neuro, cardiac, sepsis, stroke, and traumatic brain injury.
