Under direct supervision of the Grocery Manager, the Grocery Clerk will provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service. Responsibilities include assisting customers, cleaning display cases and shelves, and maintaining self-serve displays. The position requires flexible hours including nights and weekends and the ability to perform heavy lifting, bending, and stooping for long periods.

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Assist customers.
• Clean display cases and shelves.
• Clean, fill, and rotate self-serve displays.
• Perform heavy lifting up to 60 pounds.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store.

• Read and comprehend simple instructions and product labels.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
