Foreman Telecom Underground

Job Summary

Foreman – Telecom Underground at VCI Construction, LLC. Lead crews in the installation and maintenance of underground telecommunication systems, ensuring safety protocols and project timelines are followed.

• Lead crews to meet project timelines
• Assist in training crew members
• Read and understand blueprints
• Enforce company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations
• Assist Supervisor with day‑to‑day activities
• Communicate with property owners regarding work and resolve issues
• Operate heavy equipment and machinery safely
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

• Work independently with coworkers, customers, and others in unsupervised settings
• Provide accurate and reliable information to others in the company
• Safe and responsible driving for work
• Safe and responsible computer and related technology use

• 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience (preferred)
• At least three years of related work experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

• Routine: work alone in remote locations and confined spaces, arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, lift >55 lbs
• Occasional: use ladder, keyboard and mouse

Wage range: $22.00 – $30.00 per hour.
