Westland Real Estate Group is seeking a skilled, hands‑on problem‑solver to join our team as a Maintenance Technician in Long Beach, CA.

Position Overview: As a Maintenance Technician, you are the hero of our property. You handle routine upkeep to urgent repairs, ensuring residents have a safe, comfortable home. This role requires on‑call after‑hours emergency response on a rotating schedule.

• Perform a wide range of hands‑on maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting to resolve resident work orders.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents by completing necessary repairs, painting, and fixture installations.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, equipment, and grounds.
• Provide outstanding customer service to residents, communicating professionally and completing service requests promptly.

• 1‑2+ years of hands‑on maintenance experience in a residential or similar setting.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Ability to participate in rotating on‑call schedule for after‑hours emergencies.
• Physical ability to lift over 75 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
• For higher levels (II, III, IV):
  Advanced experience (3‑6+ years) and/or specialized certifications (HVAC, Electrical, etc.) desirable for higher‑level positions.
