Job DescriptionThis is a full‑time on‑site role for a Service Technician in Columbia, SC. The Service Technician will be responsible for maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, field service and customer service tasks related to low‑voltage systems technology. This role involves regular on‑site work to support and maintain various systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Inspect, maintain and adjust electrical equipment such as wiring, conduit, panels, switch gear, Switches, gauges, transducers, solenoids, gas dryers, actuators, motors, meters and controls for safe and proper operating condition.
- Repair, replace, and adjust malfunctioning electrical equipment to restore proper operating condition as specified in regulations and repair manuals.
- Inspect, maintain and adjust mechanical equipment such as compressors, pumps, engines, intercoolers, after coolers, heat exchangers, piping, tubing, fittings, filters, traps, gas dryers, fasteners, valves and actuators for safe and proper operating condition.
- Repair, replace mechanical equipment to restore proper operating condition as specified in regulations and repair manuals.
- Make scheduled inspections of CNG, LNG and/or LCNG fueling locations and equipment to determine proper and normal operating conditions in accordance with Clean Energy standard operating procedures.
- Diagnose and correct faulty and malfunctioning mechanical and/or electrical components, devices and equipment related to CNG, LNG and/or LCNG.
- High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic mechanical or electrical foundational knowledge.
- Basic computer knowledge, especially using service software.
