Job Details: The Position Player Skill Development Assistant Coach

For athletes ranging from amateur to professional players, we utilize data and technology to inform training decisions and build development programs for their strength, speed, hitting, pitching, and defensive needs. We focus on creating a world class training experience for the players that trust us with their development by building meaningful relationships and utilizing tech and data at a professional level.

Job Overview: The Position Player Skill Development Assistant Coach is responsible for assisting and executing skill training programs designed by the Coordinator, ensuring data accuracy and athlete progress tracking. This role leads and assists in hitting, infield, and catching sessions while maintaining a positive and engaging environment for athletes. Coaches are expected to foster strong relationships with athletes, parents, and staff, maintain facility cleanliness, and contribute to staff meetings.

Proficiency in biomechanics, data-driven training tools, and high-speed video analysis is essential to enhance player development. This position operates in a dynamic training environment and requires a hands‑on coaching approach to optimize athlete development while delivering clear and concise instructions to ensure athlete safety in the facility.

Job Responsibilities
  • Execute training programs implemented by Coordinator
  • Ensure data capture and accurate reporting
  • Lead or assist skill sessions
  • Maintain facility cleanliness and equipment
  • Build positive relationships with athletes, parents, and staff
  • Attend staff meetings and present at staff meetings
  • Assist with programming Skill Sessions
Qualifications

Experience:

  • Former high school level or private hitting coach experience (Preferred)
  • Former high school or collegiate playing experience (Preferred)

Tech Skills and Programs:

  • Familiarity with tech and data, such as Hittrax, BLAST Motion, Trackman and Proteus (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with programming and content software, such as Google Workspace Apps and  (Preferred)

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

Schedule: Monday - Friday: 12pm-9pm

Compensation: $22 - $25 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits including health insurance and paid time off
