Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Pay: $24.50/hour

Assignment: 6-month temporary-to-hire (TTH) opportunity

Position Overview

We are seeking a Warehouse Operator to join a manufacturing facility in Long Beach. This position is responsible for receiving, handling, storing, and shipping packaged goods in accordance with warehouse pick lists and shipping Bills of Lading (BOL).

The Warehouse Operator will help maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse while following all HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality) policies and procedures. This role requires someone who is dependable, safety-conscious, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Load and unload packaged goods entering and leaving the warehouse.

- Review and complete all shipping and receiving requirements and documentation.

- Accurately process shipping paperwork, including Bills of Lading (BOL).

- Create and label finished goods.

- Ensure packaged raw materials are moved to their designated storage areas promptly upon receipt.

- Assist with inventory control by accurately recording inventory and conducting physical counts as needed.

- Communicate information promptly to supervisors, coworkers, and other departments.

- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and work area.

- Sweep warehouse floors and empty garbage cans before the end of each shift.

- Maintain cleanliness of the loading dock, bulk loading station, and rail unloading area.

- Report accidents, upset conditions, near misses, and HSEQ nonconformances to leadership promptly.

- Follow all company safety, environmental, quality, and operating procedures.

- Provide safety recommendations to the Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager.

- Take ownership of general warehouse duties and housekeeping.

- Work independently while seeking assistance when necessary.

- Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Education & Experience

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.

- Previous warehouse experience preferred.

- Forklift driving experience required/preferred.

- Experience in a manufacturing, laboratory, or chemical plant environment is a plus.

- Knowledge of DOT, IATA, and IMDG shipping requirements is a plus.

- Experience with SAP is a plus.
