If recommended for substitute employment, you will receive additional paperwork to complete the application process. Final candidates will be recommended to the Superintendent of Schools for Board approval.
Qualifications:- New Jersey Teaching Certificate OR Valid County Substitute Certificate
- The ability to work effectively with students at all levels and establish good rapport while collaborating with teachers and administrators
- Fingerprinting is required for criminal history background clearance
To enable each child to pursue their education as smoothly as possible in the absence of the regular teacher.
Performance Responsibilities:- Report to the Building Principal upon arrival at least 15-30 minutes before the official school opening.
- Review lesson plans, attendance forms, and schedules to be followed during the teaching day.
- Provide instruction as outlined in the lesson plans provided.
- Follow all school policies and procedures.
- Ensure appropriate behavior of students under your supervision.
