Pay Rate - $20/hour

If recommended for substitute employment, you will receive additional paperwork to complete the application process.
Final candidates will be recommended to the Superintendent of Schools for Board approval.

Substitute Corridor Aide

Academy Administrator or their designee
Essential Function
This person is responsible for the security and protection of students, staff, and property and must be able to walk around the building and go up and down stairs.
Evaluation
Evaluated in writing by the Academy Administrator
Performance Responsibilities
- Patrols school buildings, corridors, lavatories and grounds to assist in the prevention of student disruptions, fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry.
- Conducts inspections of doors, windows and gates to determine that they are secure.
- Meets unauthorized persons and escorts them to the main office.
- Reports any unusual conditions regarding student behavior, movement through halls or building problems.
- Monitors school grounds and parking lots
- Establishes and maintains rapport with administration, staff and students.
- Encourages students to participate in the educational program to improve behavior in a positive manner.
- Maintains high levels of confidentiality with regard to all student disciplinary outcomes.
- Performs bus or dismissal duties as assigned.
- Performs other duties that are assigned by the immediate supervisor, the Superintendent of Schools or his designee.
