Job Overview

The Mental Health Associate functions as a care partner with the Registered Nurse to provide nursing care to a diagnostically/developmentally specific patient population; under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, the MHA provides therapeutic interventions and treatments. Also, responsible for unit support activities and clerical/administrative functions as directed. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc.

• Bachelor s degree in psychology related field OR 5 years of related experience in a psychiatric services setting
• BLS Certification through the American Heart Association
• Valid NJ Driver s license

• Full-Time
• Evening Shift
• 36 hours per week
