Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking hourly/live-in Home Health Aides for IMMEDIATE daytime, evening, overnight and weekend shifts in Monmouth and Ocean Counties for experienced CHHAs to provide in-home care. We need experienced, dependable and compassionate caregivers for immediate placement.

• REQUIREMENTS: Must love helping people, have a great attitude and a caring nature with a current NJ CHHA certification.
• RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide personal care services to clients in their homes
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up and laundry
  • Also must be able to observe and report any changes in the client’s mental, physical, or emotional condition or home situation to the Director of Nursing.
• Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage schedules and prioritize tasks
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation of client care
