Health Care Provider
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
- Maintain awareness of ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics.
- Ensure safety in practice and apply evidence-based practices; communicate and utilize resources and programs available.
- Report safety issues (e.g., hazardous environments, medical errors).
- Demonstrate knowledge of the patient population served.
- Supervise and direct the delegation of tasks to appropriate team members; collaborate with other patient care providers.
- Set and evaluate priorities with interventions that have measurable outcomes.
- Utilize the nursing process to integrate all aspects of care and individualize the plan of care to address patient needs.
RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for Monmouth Medical Center. The RN provides nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards and adheres to the ANA code of ethics.
Qualifications Required- ASN or Nursing Diploma
- One to two years’ experience within specialty
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficient computer skills
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License
- Must possess and maintain a valid N.J. State Driver’s License
- BA/BS/BSN Degree
- Clinical experience in NLN accredited school
- Screening Certification eligibility
- National Certification
- Day Shift, 24 hours per week
- Ensure safety in practice and ongoing professional development through knowledge and communication with the care team.
- Report safety issues and medical errors.
- Maintain knowledge of the patient population served.
- Supervise delegation of tasks and collaborate with care providers.
- Set priorities with measurable outcomes toward improvement.
- Utilize the nursing process to address patient needs and manage care plans.
