RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for Monmouth Medical Center. The RN provides nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards, and assures awareness of ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics.
Summary Of Job FunctionThe Registered Nurse is responsible for ensuring patient safety, reporting safety issues, supervising and delegating tasks to appropriate team members, communicating with the care team, setting priorities through evidence‑based interventions, and integrating all aspects of care by individualizing plans of care.
Qualifications- ASN or Nursing Diploma
- One to two years of experience within specialty
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficient computer skills
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License
- Valid N.J. State Driver’s License
- BA/BS/BSN Degree
- Completion of clinical experience in an NLN accredited school
- Screening Certification eligibility
- National Certification
- Night shift, 36 hours per week
- The RN assures safety in practice and incorporates evidence‑based principles by maintaining individual knowledge and advancing the team's learning.
- The RN reports safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors.
- The RN is responsible for knowledge of the patient population served.
- The RN supervises and delegates tasks to appropriate team members and collaborates with other patient‑care providers.
- The RN consistently sets and evaluates priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement.
- The RN utilizes the nursing process to integrate all aspects of care and individualizes the plan of care for each patient.
