Registered Nurse RN – Medical Surgical Unit III G5 – Per Diem Day

Pay Range: $46.90 – $63.09 per hour

The Registered Nurse provides nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards. The RN ensures patient safety, applies evidence‑based practices, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to individualize care plans. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, reporting safety issues, supervising delegated tasks, and setting priorities for measurable improvement.

• Ensure patient safety and apply evidence‑based practice.
• Report safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors.
• Maintain knowledge of the patient population served.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to appropriate team members while collaborating with other providers.
• Set and evaluate priorities through interventions with measurable outcomes.
• Utilize the nursing process to integrate all aspects of care and individualize plans for specific patient needs.

Required:

• ASN or Nursing Diploma
• 1–2 years of experience within specialty
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills

Certifications and Licenses:

• BLS and ACLS certification
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License
• Valid N.J. State Driver’s License

Preferred:

• BA/BS/BSN Degree
• Clinical experience at an NLN accredited school
• Screening Certification eligibility
• National Certification
