Job Title: RN Resident

Monmouth Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN with a passion for the Operating Room Nurse to join our surgical team! MMC is one of New Jersey's largest community teaching hospitals, and as part of RWJ Barnabas Health, we lead the region in delivering high‑quality, compassionate patient care.

For new nursing graduates or nurses transitioning into the OR setting, this position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a supportive environment.

• Assist in preparing the operating room for surgeries, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are sterile and ready.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide safe and effective patient care.
• Maintain a sterile environment to prevent infections and complications.
• Learn both the scrub and circulating role.

• Valid RN license in New Jersey.
• BSN required.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply; previous healthcare experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
