POSITION SUMMARY:

The Residential Electrician will be responsible for maintaining electrical systems in residential and small commercial buildings for our customers.

Essential Functions:

* Understand and apply blueprints and technical diagrams.

* Diagnose and repair electrical problems, replace faulty wiring or components, and maintain existing electrical systems.

* Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and prevent future breakdowns.

* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

* Inspect and maintain electrical systems in homes and businesses

* Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan and execute electrical installations and repairs.

* Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.

Competencies

* Minimum of 3 years in residential electrical work

* Strong work ethic, integrity, and ability to work independently or as part of a team

* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and installation techniques.

* Ability to use power tools and equipment effectively

* Ability to read and understand schematics and technical documentation

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
