We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Principal responsible for Pastoral Care.

As Head of Pastoral Care, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of pastoral systems, behaviour management, and personal development across the school. The role ensures a consistent, high-quality approach to student wellbeing, behaviour, and enrichment, fostering a culture of respect, responsibility, and inclusion. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the postholder will lead initiatives that promote positive student outcomes, personal growth, and engagement, while line managing key pastoral staff and contributing to whole‑school improvement.

Your leadership will guarantee that every child excels, regardless of their starting point. You’ll champion ambition, unlock potential, and create an environment where students consistently exceed expectations. You will design and lead the comprehensive personal development curriculum which supports students’ social, moral, spiritual and cultural growth, and oversee the PSHE, RSE and Careers Education programmes across the school. In addition, you will lead the school’s enrichment strategy to ensure all students access a broad and balanced range of extra‑curricular opportunities.
