An opportunity has arisen for a Production Operative to join a prestigious manufacturing company based in Nottingham.

Duties & Responsibilities

Working on a fast paced production line
Manufacturing of materials and components used in many sectors
Participating and contributing to Continuous Improvement activities
Interpreting manufacturing paperwork (Engineering drawings)
Ensuring products are stored correctly to avoid contamination and damage.
Maintaining a good standard of cleanliness in work area. Reporting all shortages, scrap, and downtime as necessary

The company is looking for a Production Operative who has the following skills and experiences:

Ideally have industrial manufacturing industry experience (print background would be great)
Awareness of safety, health, environmental and quality issues.
Team player
Ability to work well in fast paced environments

Ability to work days and night shifts.

the manufacturing area does include some chemical products and we would not recommend people with allergies and medical conditions such as asthma.
