CNC Machinist (Part-time

Position: CNC Machinist (Part-time)
An excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Machinist to join an innovating company on a part-time basis, working on precision prototypes for next-generation technologies.

Do you have strong experience programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines? Are you looking for a part-time role working on exciting projects?

Specialising in advanced technology, this pioneering organisation has built a strong reputation for engineering innovation and product development. With ambitious growth plans and continued investment into R&D, they are now looking to expand their prototype engineering team with the addition of a CNC Machinist.

In this role, you will manufacture high-quality, precision prototype components, primarily through CNC milling. Working closely with mechanical and R&D engineers, you will produce one-off and low-volume components, provide manufacturing feedback and support the rapid development of new products. This is a part-time role, initially 2-3 days a week, so you must be happy with this.

This role would therefore suit an experienced CNC Machinist with programming experience who is looking for a part-time role and enjoys working on technically challenging projects.

The Role:

CNC programming, setting and operating
Manufacturing precision prototype components
Part-time - initially 2-3 days a week
£35,000 - £45,000 (Pro-rata) + Part-Time + Benefits

The Person :

Experience programming, setting & operating CNC machinery
Strong understanding of drawings and GD&T
CAD/CAM or prototype experience advantageous
Looking for a part-time role
Commutable to Long Eaton area
