The Payroll Administrator is responsible for the accurate preparation, documentation, distribution, and reconciliation of the payroll and the payroll administration process.
Principle Responsibilities- Reviews the computation of employee pay, managing deductions, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations and associated deductions for accuracy.
- Attention to detail, strong computer literacy, and up-to-date knowledge of employment law and tax forms. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local, state, and federal legislation affecting payroll.
- Collaboration with HR and finance teams to maintain accurate payroll records. Respond to and resolve inquiries regarding paychecks or payroll reporting.
- Process W4 & direct deposit changes as well as garnishments and other payroll-related processes.
- Assist managers and employees with questions related to payroll and timecards.
- Strong adherence to confidentiality.
- Experience with ADP payroll systems preferred or similar payroll system.
- Microsoft Word Processing software.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel software.
- Excellent customer service.
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- 2-4 years of Payroll Administrative experience.
The posted salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications.
