SUNSET FOOD MART, INC. is currently interviewing for a Bakery Manager / Pastry Chef at our Long Grove, IL location.

• Excellent supervisory, communication and customer service skills;
• Ability to oversee operations and staffing for the bakery department within a grocery store;
• Cake Decorating skills and a minimum 2 years of Bakery experience required.
• Manage pastry making/baking, inventory and purchasing for the department;
• Monitor quality of goods and service within the bakery department;
• Responsible for the department staff training, assignments, and scheduling;
• Accountable for monitoring and achieving sales, purchasing, and labor targets;
• Must maintain proper product assortment, merchandising, and inventory control;
• High school diploma or its equivalent;
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds;
• Must be able to be exposed to temperatures: 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
