We’re hiring a hybrid team member to serve in dual roles as both Lead Instructor (Code Sensei) for our Junior Program (ages 5–8) and Front Desk/Admin Assistant. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with families and supporting center operations while leading hands-on coding and STEM activities for young learners.

• Lead weekly classes for 5–8-year-olds (Wednesday 5:30pm-6:15pm, Friday 5:45pm-6:30pm, Saturday 9:00am-9:45am, Saturday 1:00pm-1:45pm)
• Teach foundational coding concepts using on-screen and off-screen activities
• Keep young learners engaged, energized, and progressing in a structured curriculum
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress
• Adapt and personalize curriculum to meet kids  needs and interests
• Collaborate with the team to support other instructors and future program growth

• Greet and check in students and families
• Answer and manage phone calls and email inquiries
• Coordinate class schedules, appointments, and calendars
• Assist with spreadsheets, presentations, and marketing materials
• Maintain organized records and filing systems
• Conduct basic internet research and place orders for supplies
• Enter data and support email/postal mail campaigns
• Keep the center tidy, professional, and parent-friendly

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Friendly, upbeat, and professional communication style
• Passionate about working with children and families
• Some experience with or interest in coding and STEM (training provided)
• Comfortable with technology and basic troubleshooting (e.g., Google Docs, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Energetic, reliable, and enthusiastic about creating a positive environment
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and take ownership of responsibilities
• Must pass a background check

Compensation: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
