Resident Care Associate for Assisted Living

Glenmeadow is a compassionate assisted living community dedicated to providing exceptional care to our residents in a supportive environment. We are seeking a dedicated and caring Resident Care Associate. The primary duties are assisting residents with their activities of daily living (ADL), and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).

Essential responsibilities include:

• Providing assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Monitoring residents' health and reporting changes to nursing staff.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and home-like environment for residents.
• Building meaningful relationships with residents and their families.
• Following all of Glenmeadow's procedures, policies, and state regulations.

Education and experience requirements:

• Valid CNA or PCA certification in Massachusetts.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in assisted living, long-term care, or a similar setting is preferred but not required.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to resident care.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Knowledge of infection control and Universal Precaution procedures.
• Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, elders, family members, visitors, and the public.

Physical demands include:

• Regularly lift/move up to 40 lbs and assist during falls.
