Tax Preparer

Century Group is in search of an experienced Tax Preparer to join a team in the Northern Denver (hybrid schedule). Qualified candidates with 1-5+ years of tax experience are encouraged to apply. Local candidates only. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $30.65 to $35 per hour.

Job Description:

• Follow up on tax returns in progress
• Prepare estimated tax payments for clients
• Prepare forms 1040, 1065, 1120S, 1120, 990
• Prepare year end reviews
• Prepares income tax return forms for businesses and individuals
• Uses tax form instructions and software to make proper entries on the tax form

Requirements:

• Proficient with the Quickbooks Online or Quickbooks Desktop, including strong Excel and ERP system skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
• Able to work independently and take initiative
• Able to adapt to changing priorities
