Qualifications Needed:
- Eligibility for licensure within the state of Colorado
- Strong clinical judgement with a focus on surgical excellence
- Veterinary degree with advanced training in equine surgery
- Completion of a recognised residency programme or board certification status
- Clear, professional communication skills within a multidisciplinary team
- Providing guidance and clinical support to veterinary staff and trainees
- Performing scheduled equine surgical procedures with a focus on best-practice outcomes
- Supporting advanced diagnostic workups alongside medical colleagues
- Collaborating with referring veterinarians on case planning and follow-up
- Contributing to the development of surgical protocols and standards
- Elective-only surgical caseload supporting predictable workflows
- Flexible scheduling structure tailored to surgeon availability
