Compensation Range: $42,300 - $52,800

Job Purpose

ABSL Space Products is the world leader in Lithium-Ion batteries and power systems for space applications. As we continue expanding our production and test capabilities, we are seeking motivated individuals who are eager to develop specialized skills in a high-reliability aerospace environment.

The Test Technician I role is an entry-level position designed to build foundational skills in battery testing, laboratory operations, and aerospace quality standards. This role is ideal for candidates who have strong attention to detail and enjoy hands‑on technical work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work closely with test engineers and senior technicians to set up and execute testing of Li Ion batteries for multiple aerospace programs
  • Follow written instructions, standard procedures, and documented processes to complete assigned tasks
  • Support a wide range of test activities using equipment such as thermal‑vacuum chambers (TVAC), electrical test instruments, and related test fixtures and harnessing
  • Follow laboratory processes and procedures to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
  • Perform repetitive and detail‑oriented tasks with consistency and high accuracy
  • Report directly to the Test Technician Supervisor
Qualifications
  • Ability to follow and execute standard operating procedures in an aerospace environment
  • Executes work with a high attention to detail in regards to repetitive, detail oriented tasks
  • Database entry experience with Excel or similar programs
  • Aerospace or high tech industry experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to work within a close knit team to strict deadlines
