Our client is seeking a Test/Validation Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have technical ownership, a test strategy mindset, and strong cross-functional collaboration which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Test/Validation Engineer
Location: Longmont, CO
Pay Range: $65+
What's the Job?- Validate pre-production SSDs using productoin servers and/or Ecosystem partner switch, HBA, RAID adapter, and retimer products.
- Own and improve test plans, coverage, and execution to increase validation quality and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain automated and manual test cases, including automation strategies that support internal test frameworks.
- Execute validation plans, monitor test efficiency, and analyze results using Pareto and trend analysis to drive actionable insights.
- Lead defect management through root cause analysis, reproducible failure documentation, and clear risk communication with internal teams, partners, and customers.
- Experience defining validation strategies aligned with project scope and delivery timelines.
- Ability to design, develop, and maintain automated and manual test cases, including automation strategy execution.
- Strong technical understanding of product functionality and relevant industry certifications.
- Proficiency in preparing SSD and server samples for validation and executing validation plans with accurate reporting.
- Experience using industry AI tools, as these tools are mandatory in the role.
- Technical ownership of validation quality—your decisions directly improve coverage, efficiency, and outcomes.
- A role built for continuous improvement, where you refine methodologies and tools over time.
- Cross-functional collaboration with CVE and product design teams to align test coverage with firmware and hardware architecture.
